Alcaston Gallery presents a collaboration with RACV highlighting key represented and exhibited Australian Contemporary artists with a focus on First Nations Artists, curated by Adriana Del Medico & Ellen Wignell . With a strong history of representing Australian artists both nationally and internationally, Alcaston Gallery and RACV has selected a special array of artworks.
The exhibition focuses on the story of ancient tracks across our vast land inhabited by our First Nations people, and Australia today, painted by artists whose gift of this knowledge of country is an everyday inspiration in creating their art.
Exploring artists both within and outside of the RACV Art Collection, this exhibition is an exclusive showing of contemporary Australian First Nations and Australian artists from across Australia including regional Victoria, Northern Territory and the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands of South Australia. This builds on RACV’s strong and continuing support of contemporary Australian artists and Australian First Nation’s artists.
